SURFACE INDUCTION

Designed for administration, mill, maintenance and other operational surface personnel, AMPT Services’ Surface Induction provides participants with a general overview of the mining industry. The induction covers a range of topics including an introduction to mining, expectations of new employees, company polices, environmental responsibilities, site safety requirements, personal protective equipment (PPE), signage and permits, hazard and risk reporting, light vehicles and communications.

Site specific inductions can be developed to suit individual company requirements.

 

 

 

UNDERGROUND INDUCTION

The Underground Induction is a comprehensive initiation for all inexperienced underground personnel beginning their career in the mining industry. The course includes all topics covered in the Surface Induction, as well as specific underground issues such as personal tag board procedures, firing systems, scaling and assessing ground conditions, signs and barricades, mobile equipment, working at heights, dangerous gases, explosives identification, fire training and emergency procedures.

Site specific inductions can be developed to suit individual company requirements.
