RII50115 Diploma of Surface Operations Management

If you are currently working as a team leader or supervisor, and you would like to step up to a manager’s role within open cut quarrying or mining operations, the RII50120 Diploma of Surface Operations Management will give you the necessary certification to fulfill this role. 

This qualification reflects the role of managers in an open cut quarry, who perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment, roles and techniques for themselves and others. They are required to demonstrate the application of a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills and implement safety management plans.
